Steve – :
I am at a coffee shop and there is literally a JACKHAMMER outside my window, right down the street. I am plugged into these earphones, listening to music, and I don’t hear a thing. I don’t normally write reviews but this vastly exceeds my expectations for the price. If this is what you want in your life, these earphones are right for you.

Thank you Steve! We had people like you in mind when we incorporated our sound cancellation technology into the design.

I’ve owned many other earbuds that have cost $70, $100, $150 and these sound as good as any of them. I’m amazed! The design is super sleek (I’ve already received multiple compliments on them) they feel like they are built with high quality materials. Unlike some other in-ear earphones I’ve tried, the eartips on these ones are soft and comfortable to use for hours. I use these mainly to listen to music when I work and they do an outstanding job of blocking out noise. These are an absolute steal for the price. Buy them now.

I bought these to go with my new iPhone 7 to use commuting on the bus (loud) and at work (not so loud, but want sound isolation, and I am very happy with them.
Sound quality: The sound quality are spectacular for the cost. I own the Yamaha EPH-100SL that I used on my previous iPhone too, which have slightly better sound, but are nearly 3x the price, minus the remote! However, the L1’s sound is definitely superior in a few ways: fantastic bass - important for my gym music, great separation between treble and bass - very important for my classical music. I think this is because the connection is through the lightning connection, which I’ve read makes sure the data stays intact, rather than 3.5 mm headphones which leads to some degradation of data. Anyway, overall, the sound range and quality are great, especially for the price.
Build: I’ve had these guys only for a few weeks, but a few days ago they fell off my table and was stepped on - and I couldn’t even tell other than a small ding with the hardwood floor.
One word or warning that you will see in many of the reviews: if you have never used IEMs, they’re going to take some getting used to! You need to make sure you get a really good seal in, and there should be SOME amount of pressure for them to work well. If the bass is lacking, 99% of the time this is the case. These guys block out sound really well, and I’m in love with them - my team yelling at me across the table at work doesn’t love them so much ;).

Thank you for your kind words Mary! We appreciate the loyalty, and I hope you continue to enjoy your headphones!
